Thank you to everyone that applied for the free CUT&RUN kit (Cleavage Under Targets & Release Using Nuclease). We had an overwhelming number of great applications.

Congratulations to the following successful applicant:
Gokhan Cildir from Centre for Cancer Biology, University of South Australia

Abstract: We have identified a novel subpopulation of specific immune cells in the peripheral blood of patients with allergic diseases. To better understand the regulatory landscape of the chromatin in this specific population, we would like to take advantage of the CUT&RUN technique to profile several histone modifications. This analysis, combined with the low-input RNA-seq analysis, will allow us to deeply characterize this unique population and understand if it could be a specific biomarker for inflammatory or allergic diseases.

CUT&RUN is one of the most exciting advancements in chromatin biology - enabling generation of high-resolution chromatin profiling data in a fraction of the time and cost of standard ChIP-seq experiments.

  • Compatible with a wide diversity of targets: histone modifications and chromatin interacting proteins (e.g. transcription factors, epigenetic writers and readers, etc.)
  • Validated protocols for common sample preparations: fresh, frozen, and cross-linked cells or isolated nuclei
  • All necessary controls provided: spike-in DNA for normalization, defined nucleosome controls for troubleshooting and control antibodies for publication-level quality control checks
