The DropSense 96 is a polychromatic microlitre plate reader that is designed for reading DropPlates and microplates. Utilising UV-Vis absorption spectrophotometry it is the perfect fit for biomolecule quantification. The cDrop software is the ultimate spectral analysis software. The cDrop software allows a full deconvolution of the absorption spectrum, distinguishing between DNA, RNA, Protein and other components. Using the cDrop software you can accurately quantitate your DNA from any samples, including Saliva, even in presence of other biomolecules (RNA, Protein, NTP, dNTP) and contaminants/inhibitors such as Phenol or Guanidinium.

Samples were prepared by mixing different quantities of dsDNA, RNA, Protein and Phenol. Samples were then analysed using the DropSense96 and the cDrop software. This table reports the sample composition "Calculated sample content", the regular A260 quantitation for dsDNA and the cDrop content analysis measured.
